The Wolf flute arrived.

Upon unveiling the flute from its wrapping and from its flute bag,
the first thing that captured my attention was the peaceful loving expression on the Wolf’s face.

Her lips seem to be smiling and she herself is breathtaking.
The wood of the flute and its designs are extraordinary.

The feel of the wood and its weight seems like its a flute I have been waiting for…a longing..a search finally over.
I feel like this flute found me. I will be forever humbled that you chose me to have this extraordinary creation.
Its seems designed for me. There is a coming home feeling, none of which I have with any of my other flutes.

I played the flute tonight. The voice is seamless, bright and faultless.
It is strong where I am weak, and it never wavers from its tune. It carries for me a melody from its own heart - to my own.
I have never been able to do a nice trill, but with this Wolf with her guiding voice, the flute plays and responds impeccably, even holding a trill.

I have a sense that I can carry this flute all day, every day, in my hand.
Its been born out of a dream, come to life through your hands and sings eloquently in the clearest of voices.
The tone seems sweet and yet, I feel, it can play melancholy as well.

It is my soul’s song, a gifted treasure.
I am moved to tears really.

This Wolf flute touched me deeply the very first time I saw its initial photos of its carving in its rough form.
The longer I hold this flute, touch it, feel it’s rhythm and hear its song, the deeper the feeling of oneness
and belonging as it further entrenches itself within my very soul.

JP, this Wolf F# flute is a priceless gift of which a value can never be placed upon it.
Everything about the flute is elegant and soulful. It vibrates with a higher energy than of this world.

"I just acquired my first Heartsong flute a few weeks ago – an amazing combination of redwood and maple burls with inlays of jet black Gabon
Ebony and blue AZ natural Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, all presented in the key of low D. Honestly, it just doesn’t get any better than that.
Indeed, within two weeks I’d ordered my second flute from JP – the so-called “Running Horse” flute, simply because the workmanship and
artistry is so stunning that I simply felt compelled to acquire another one because the value is truly there. And of course, the playability is
wonderful, perfectly clear and accurately tuned, and I think that is evident merely by seeing the names of all of the professional recording
artists who rely on JP’s flutes, both live and in the studio. And if all that weren’t enough, JP finishes it all up with the small touches too.
I was very pleased with the flute bag that accompanied the flute as well as the way the wraps are twisted along their lengths.
Even the brochure that came with the flute was apparently customized to my Low D flute on the front and back covers
to show notes and their corresponding finger positions. All in all, truly a worthwhile investment,
both for the collector and for the serious and/or professional performing artist.

The Calf flute just entered my home 15 minutes ago. The craftsmanship is extraordinary.
So perfect it is hard to believe it was handcrafted of wood.

The sweet calf is even more precious than what the photos showed.
So heartfully created and mounted.

The woods, turquoise inlay and all that encompasses the flute are extraordinary.
I cradled the flute in my hands, placed my fingers on the holes and pushed my breath through.

The flute responded with such exquisite sound, so clear, so bright, so loving.

As I played, the flute never squeaked, never sounded wispy or breathy. It sang of a voice of ancient times.
The tone of this flute is pure like the woods and stones of which it was born.

This flute, in honor of the Legend Of The White Buffalo Calf could not have been a more outstanding instrument.

it's beautiful and I like that I can smell the woods/oils and that those are not sealed with plastic.
The voice is clear, warm but has a really nice raspiness to it. It is easy to play and I like that I can hold a note longer using less air.

"The flute arrived today and it is spectacular. Beyond even what I had imagined from the photos. The finish has an almost three dimensional
quality to it as if you could peer through the layers of wood. But the finish on it is natural as well. No hint of the plasticity look that higher gloss
sometimes produces. This feels and looks like wood, but a very special wood. The block is so beautifully carved with detail beyond what the photos
can show. This is literally one of the most beautiful flutes I have ever seen. It is certainly a collector's item. But for me the best part is that it will not
merely be a thing of beauty in a collection. It will be played again and again because the tone is just as beautiful as the look. It is clear and bell like
but with the resonance unique to NAF style flutes. Wonderful clarity for an Fm. I particularly like that it can produce very clear high notes
without sacrificing a very resonant and full fundamental. JP, you've outdone yourself!"
